General Information
Internet connectivity at the conference
eduroam
The University of Zurich is part of the eduroam (education roaming) network. eduroam was developed to allow secure, world-wide roaming access services for the international research and education community. Students, researchers and staff from participating institutions can "obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop." (http://www.eduroam.org/)
To find out if your institution is part of eduroam, follow the linked maps from http://www.eduroam.org/
You need to configure your device only exactly once, as instructed to by your home institution. The configuration instructions are specific for your institution. It is not helpful to follow configuration instructions of other institutions. This means you best configure your device before your departure. For more information please read the eduroam-FAQ or contact your local IT staff.
Conference Internet Accounts
We will arrange Conference Internet Accounts for participants who don't have access to the UZH network.
